Managing Innovation in Technical Education: Revisiting the Developmental Strategies of Politeknik Brunei

The present study aims at exploring the strategies for managing innovation in technical education by using blended learning philosophy and practices with special reference to Politeknik Brunei. Based on literature review desk research, found out salient characteristics, explored constraining factors, elicited of Brunei, suggested some options a framework innovations management development effective teaching learning. limiting factors identified are unwillingness top-level management, lack structural support, dearth readiness stakeholders, gap between teacher's expectations changed students myopia way application strategies. Notable suggestions strategic developing wide-angle vision self-renewal processes, analyzing environment needs determination. Clarity purpose tasks, technological adaptability, data-driven decision making, prompt feedback, flipped classroom, clusters other dimensions that may go long toward innovating teaching-learning overall an academic institution. Finally, important guidelines applying proposed quality education.
